Third-Party Maintenance
Vendor-backed hardware support and parts replacement for a server model after its manufacturer's own end-of-service date.
Third-party maintenance (TPM) provides Power8 hardware parts, break-fix work, and often monitoring after IBM hardware support ends. TPM does not include IBM i 7.4 Service Extension, restore IBM firmware development, or add support for IBM i 7.5 and 7.6.
