IBM Power8 launched in 2014 and was withdrawn from marketing between 2017 and 2020 depending on model. Every current Power8 model has now passed its own IBM end-of-service date, and IBM i 7.4 ... the last IBM i release Power8 hardware can run ... itself leaves standard support on September 30, 2026.
