IBM i
IBM's integrated operating system for Power servers, the direct successor to OS/400, commonly run on AS/400-lineage hardware.
IBM i 7.4 is the last release that installs on Power8 hardware. Standard support ended September 30, 2026, and paid Service Extension remains available through September 30, 2029. IBM i 7.5 requires Power9 or later, while IBM i 7.6 requires Power10 or Power11.
