Our sources do not list EC2S for a Power 8 machine type. Some sellers still list it for Power 8. Before you buy, confirm it against your exact machine type.
Verified as a Power9 adapter. No IBM or Midland source checked ties EC2S to a Power 8 model.
Before you order EC2S
Network cards come in two heights. Low profile cards fit the shorter 2U servers. Full height cards fit the taller 4U servers. If a card has a twin code, the twin is the same card in the other height.
